If you’ve ever seen Enchanted, you gasped when the fairy tale characters proclaimed New York City as a place where “there are no happy endings.” Untrue!  This panel of romance authors unites to convince you that there is no place on earth more romantic than New York City.  Okay, maybe we’re biased, but since it’s BookCon, we think it’s okay to proclaim that love is absolute serendipity in this setting; and romances set in New York always make a splash!  Join authors Joanna Shupe, Maya Rodale, Zoey Castile K.M. Jackson, and Maria Vale along with moderator Petra Mayer (NPR Books) in a panel about why Manhattan makes us so moonstruck! What’s the appeal of New York as a setting…and given that our city is larger-than-life, does it ever become the star of the story?
